I’m Greg Golding, the artist behind GG Studio. I began oil painting when I was 10 years old, learning from my grandmother and using the brushes she gave me. After stepping away from painting for nearly 25 years, I picked those brushes back up—and found a part of myself I hadn’t realized I was missing.
Today, I create original oil paintings inspired by the people, places, memories, and moments that mean something to me. From Nevada landscapes and wildlife to deeply personal pieces and commissioned portraits, every painting has a story behind it.
For me, painting isn’t about creating something perfect. It’s about creating something that makes you feel something.
